This is my most loved rhyme — a nondual bedtime story, for the magical inner child. Written in 2003, and performed above in 2011.

People often tell me this should be a children’s book. But from what I hear, kids don’t actually enjoy it much! That’s why I tell people “inner children love it, but actual children don’t.”

More recently I’ve been working on a children’s version of this. Let me know if you’d like to beta-test it on the children in your life. I’d love to know how the kiddos respond. So far so good. The one report I’ve gotten is promising. It’s the unsolicited testimonial from a 9-year old boy after hearing it at bedtime: “I like it . . . I like it a lot.”

Feedback

  • “Your poem is breathtaking.”

  • “Maja I was sooo drawn into your story I listened again this afternoon with my friend while we were out walking in a beautiful forest. We nestled into the branches of a Hazel tree and bathed in the story fully with all our presence and were indeed sculpted by the sculptress. My dear friend said she felt So Nurtured. I knew exactly what she meant. Much Gratitude for sharing your beautiful gifts.”

  • “I just want to share my “no words” in gratitude. Here they come...“

  • “The amplification of the feeling I got from your creation story went like the meme in this video of Keanu Reeves :-0 (mind blown). Which was apt as I thought of the Matrix when thinking of a creation story. . . Anyway, your poem is breathtaking.”
