My ideas on the formation of harmonically resonant communities are based on more than two decades of observation, collaboration, and direct involvement with self-development leaders, nondual teachers, and their growing communities. Much of the information below is addressed specifically to people in field of nondual teaching with a central value of awakened awareness, but the ideas can be and have been applied more broadly.

The above video was filmed at the Science and Nonduality Conference in 2016. "For teachers, healers, therapists, and entrepreneurs — this presentation offers a unique overview of how community grows around a core value of awakened awareness. Every retreat, gathering, or one-on-one meeting happens within a larger context of communication and community, which develops and deepens through a seven-step cycle. By bringing awareness and care to each stage of the cycle, your teaching or service can be more clearly conveyed, more deeply received, attract the right people, and have a longer lasting impact. Understanding the dynamic interplay of consciousness and the channels through which it flows will help you see your strong and weak points in the cycle, how to apply your strengths to support your weaknesses, and hopefully inspire you to create a more solid foundation for your truth-inspired work. This cyclic model came to light when Maja set out to document and share with others the underlying principles that make Adyashanti’s silent meditation retreats the most powerful channel for his teachings."
View the Mandala
The above link shows a more recent visualization on how harmonically resonant community gathers around a core inspiration. I had some sense of this thinking when I was drawing the mandala, but it was mostly an intuitive process which turned out to work quite well as a visualization for my thinking.
Briefly: Central to the process of developing harmonically resonant community is to have deep insight about and alignment with your core Inspiration, which then guides the spirit of all that comes next. Clarity of Intention then gives a potential shape for the unmanifest inspiration to come into form through each step around the cycle.A skillful Invitation (e.g. marketing) naturally calls to others who are aligned with the same inspiration. Next, comes the Investment where people enter into some kind of actual engagement (e.g. sign up for a retreat, create agreements for collaboration, invest in a company). The Invocation step is about getting yourself and others fully present to engage with each other and with the core inspiration. The Inquiry phase is when the as-yet-unrealized thing is being explored or created -- through a 3-way collaboration between you + others + core inspiration. Then comes the completion of the creative movement, whether internal or external (e.g. a spiritual insight, a collaborative project such a completed film). Next comes the Integration -- sharing the outcome in community (e.g. walking the talk of the spiritual insight, showing the film).
